When I heard about the creation of Parry Wines, I was fascinated as to how they could incorporate such bold, new flavors into an ever-reliable sherry style. I’ve always considered Parry as one of my best sherry alternatives, and it was quite interesting to learn that such a large number of Californian based companies are actually part of a larger conglomerate that controls over a huge array of international brands including; Chianti, G. H. Mumm and Syrah. I also love a good sherry, and for years, I’ve avoided purchasing any other sherry besides the Parry variety because of the wonderful price and superior flavor.
Parry is actually a merger of three major sherry brands: Mumm, Chianti, and Syrah. Jean Georges & Cedric Vongerichten blend modern American favorites in the master sherry tower. The result is a wine that is bold, delicious, and remarkably different from other sherry options on the market. Each year, the wine comes out with a new flavor that is totally different than any other sherry on the market.
The thing that makes this wine stand out above others is the price. When you buy a bottle of Parry, you are essentially getting the full flavor of each brandy without having to spend a great deal of money. There are several places in the world where this wine is sold at a high price, but the price of Parry is so much more affordable that it really isn’t even worth it!
The Internet has created quite a buzz around the Parry line of wines, but don’t think for a second that you have to live in France to enjoy a bottle of this incredible wine. These wines are available all over the world and can be bought for a reasonable price. If you’re looking for an exceptional wine that will leave your guests asking for more, you simply cannot go wrong with a bottle of Parry. The reason for this is because this is one of the most well-known and well-respected names in the business when it comes to fine wine.
It shouldn’t take too long before you find a few bottles being sold by either the local supermarket or the specialty shop in your area. If you’re looking for a bargain, consider buying a case. Even if you pay more money up front, you will discover that the value of the bottle often outweighs the cost of the case. There are several brands available, so the price range can vary quite a bit depending on what you look for. In fact, if you’re trying to decide between two or three different Parry wines, it would probably be wise to compare their prices first before making a decision.
Many of the world’s best and most prestigious hotels use Parry wines as a way to impress their guests. You will not only be drinking a classy wine, but you will be serving it at some of the finest restaurants in the world!
